Addressing a conference of PRD personnel held in Gorakhpur, Adityanath described the force’s members as a strong symbol of service, security, discipline and dedication to the public. He praised their commitment and honesty, saying their work forms an important part of Uttar Pradesh’s security system.
During the event, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a multi-storey PRD barracks in Lucknow, being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹23 crore. The facility is expected to strengthen accommodation and support infrastructure for PRD personnel.
The event also marked the launch of the Chief Minister’s PRD Cashless Medical Scheme, aimed at providing improved healthcare support to personnel associated with the Provincial Rakshak Dal.
