Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted a detailed review meeting of the Housing and Urban Planning Department in Lucknow, focusing on long-pending residential and commercial allocation matters across the state.

During the review, the Chief Minister instructed officials to implement the One Time Settlement Scheme (OTS–2026) to ensure swift resolution of cases related to delayed, disputed, and outstanding allotments. The scheme aims to provide a time-bound, transparent, and citizen-centric solution to issues that have remained unresolved for several years.

CM Yogi emphasized that prolonged pendency in housing and commercial allotments causes unnecessary hardship to citizens and affects public trust in governance. He directed department officials to simplify procedures, ensure accountability, and eliminate avoidable delays while executing the scheme.
According to officials, OTS–2026 will facilitate the settlement of old dues and disputes through a structured framework, offering relief to allottees while safeguarding government interests. The Chief Minister underlined that the scheme should be implemented with complete transparency and fairness, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive timely relief.
Reiterating his government’s commitment to efficient urban governance and public welfare, CM Yogi stated that development initiatives must directly benefit citizens and strengthen ease of living in urban areas. He also instructed officers to closely monitor the progress of the scheme and submit regular reports to the government.
The review meeting reflects the state government’s continued focus on administrative reforms, urban development, and responsive governance, aligning with Uttar Pradesh’s broader development roadmap.
