He was addressing a Sant Sammelan at the Saptarishi Ashram Ground near Bharat Mata Temple on Sapt Sarovar Road in Haridwar.

Referring to the state’s law-and-order situation, CM Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is now free from riots and curfews and is progressing steadily on the path of development. He remarked that the state, once known for instability, has emerged as a model of governance and economic growth.

Speaking on the spiritual and national significance of pilgrimage centres, the Chief Minister said Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham are not merely centres of faith but also centres of national consciousness. He said these sacred places provide strength and inspiration to the nation and reflect India’s civilisational ethos.
CM Yogi Adityanath stated that respect for India’s spiritual heritage has played a key role in strengthening the nation. He said that protecting and promoting the country’s cultural legacy has contributed to Uttar Pradesh’s transformation from a once “BIMARU” state into a significant success story in India’s economic journey.
Highlighting the broader changes taking place in the country, the Chief Minister said India has witnessed wide-ranging transformation in recent years. He described the current phase as a long-awaited era of nation-building, adding that India is not merely a geographical entity but a civilisation rooted in self-reliance and cultural strength.
Yogi Adityanath further said that any nation which neglects its civilisation and culture cannot secure its present or shape its future. He described Vedic India as a symbol of a self-reliant civilisation, built on the spiritual efforts of sages, the hard work of farmers and the creativity of artisans.
The Chief Minister said it was a privilege to participate in the event in Uttarakhand and emphasised that India’s civilisational values continue to guide the nation towards stability, development and global recognition.
