Through various pension schemes, the state government has extended support to lakhs of beneficiaries, including elderly citizens, destitute women, and disable. Officials state that these initiatives are not only providing economic assistance but are also restoring a sense of dignity, security, and self-confidence among beneficiaries.
Bhagwant Mann: Wide Coverage Across Sections
As per government data, around 67.50 lakh elderly citizens and 26.81 lakh destitute women are receiving pensions across the state. Additionally, approximately 11.57 lakh दिव्यांगजन are benefiting from assured financial assistance, helping them meet basic needs and lead a more secure life.
