The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath, has approved the establishment of ‘DREAM (Design, Robotics, Electronics, Additive Manufacturing) Skill Labs’ in 150 government secondary schools across the state.
The decision aims to equip students with modern technical skills aligned with current and future industrial requirements, while also supporting personality development and practical learning.

The Cabinet has also approved the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Secondary Education Department and NELCO Network Products Limited for setting up and operationalising these labs.
District-level implementation
Under the plan, two DREAM Skill Labs will be established in each district, ensuring wider access to advanced learning facilities for students across Uttar Pradesh.

Officials stated that the initiative will help students gain exposure to fields such as robotics, electronics, and manufacturing technologies, preparing them for emerging career opportunities in technical sectors.
