In the midst of the increasing outbreak of cold, people are taking different measures to avoid it. People are using everything from room heaters to blowers in their homes and a family in Sitapur used Petromax to beat the cold. Little did they know that this Petromax gas would be the cause of death. This case has come to the fore from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh which has shaken everyone. Police say that the gas leak from Petromax has killed 4 people including two children.
Dies Due to Suffocation
In fact, a couple along with two children have died in Jhajjar locality in Biswan area of Sitapur district. According to the information, all four slept in the same room on Saturday night. He had kept the petromax on fire to avoid cold, but due to the malfunction of the petromax, gas started leaking from it. Because of this, the family members died due to suffocation.
According to the report, an acquaintance had come to call him at around 1.30 pm on Sunday and had informed the police about the door not opening, after which the police reached the spot and broke the door. During this, all four people were found dead in the room.
According to the information, a strong smell of LPG was coming from the room and Petromax was kept nearby, which is used to get relief from cold, whose gas had run out. However, the matter is still under investigation.
