Ghaziabad News: Hindon to Patna Direct Flight Launched: Boost to Regional Connectivity, Tourism, and Trade

The move is expected to significantly benefit passengers traveling to historic and spiritual destinations like Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, and Vaishali.

Ghaziabad News: In a major push to regional air connectivity, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has launched direct flight services from Hindon Airport (Ghaziabad) to Patna Airport, making travel between Delhi-NCR and Bihar’s capital faster and more convenient. The move is expected to significantly benefit passengers traveling to historic and spiritual destinations like Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, and Vaishali.

The direct flight will not only strengthen interstate connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar but will also open up new opportunities for tourism, trade, and local industries.

Key Benefits of the Hindon-Patna Flight:

  • Easier access from NCR to Patna: Travelers from Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Western UP can now reach Bihar’s capital directly, cutting down on travel time and hassle.
  • Support for MSMEs and agriculture: Small-scale industries and farmers in both states will benefit from quicker transportation and logistics.
  • Tourism boost: With better connectivity, tourist inflow to religious and historical sites like Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, and Vaishali is expected to increase.
  • Regional growth: The initiative aligns with the government’s vision for strengthening Eastern India’s regional connectivity under the UDAN scheme.

The AAI tweeted that “Hindon is becoming a new identity of a stronger Uttar Pradesh”, as the airport becomes a hub for development, connectivity, and cultural integration.

This new air route marks an important milestone in connecting heritage, faith, and economic growth between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
