IMD issued orange alert regarding hailstorm in these districts for the next 24 hours

The weather has once again taken a turn in many parts of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand. In UP on Monday, there was heavy rain (UP Rain Alert) along with strong wind in many parts of Purvanchal including the capital Lucknow. Due to the unseasonal rains, once again the feeling of cold has started. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD Warning), the weather is going to remain like this for the next three-four days. The Meteorological Department has issued Orange and Yellow Alert in UP in many parts of Uttar Pradesh for the coming days.

Orange alert regarding hailstorm in these districts for the next 24 hours

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center in Lucknow, there will be a possibility of strong wind, rain and hailstorm till March 25. The same department told that in the next 24 hours Agra, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Auraiya, Ayodhya, Banda, Barabanki Bareilly, Chitrakoot, Etah Etawah, Farukhabad, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Gonda, Hardoi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kansganj, Kaushambi, Lucknow, Mainpuri, Mirzapur, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Sambhal.


In view of the possibility of rain, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. Agra, Aligarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Amroha, Auraiya, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Badaun, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Barabanki, Bareilly, Basti, Bulandshahr, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etah, Etawah, Farrukhabad , Fatehpur Firozabad, GB Nagar, Ghaziabad, Ghazipur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardol, Hathras, Jalaun, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lalitpur, Lucknow, Maharajganj, Mahoba Mainpuri, Mathura, Mau, Meerut, Mirzapur Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli Rampur, Saharanpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sant Ravi Das Nagar, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong wind (30-40 kmph) is expected in Shamli, Siddharthnagar, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Shravasti, Sultanpur, Unnao and Varanasi.

How will the weather be across the country for the next 24 hours?

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Northeast India during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur in parts of Haryana, Punjab, Western Himalayas and Gangetic West Bengal. Light rain may occur over East Rajasthan, parts of North and East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, there may be splashes and showers with thunder in Delhi and NCR. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and North East India.

According to Skymet Weather, during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by heavy rain and thundershowers occurred over Southeast Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate rain occurred at one or two places over Delhi, parts of Chhattisgarh, Kutch region of Gujarat and Northeast Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain and thundershower occurred over rest of Northeast India, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh.
