Khadi Mahotsav 2025 continues to draw strong public participation, with long queues of visitors gathering at the stalls on the fourth day of the event. The festival, which began on November 21 at Central Sanskrit University, Gomti Nagar, witnessed significant footfall on Monday as well.
The event is serving as a major platform to showcase traditional art forms, handmade Khadi products, and innovative creations by artisans. Alongside Khadi garments, a wide range of handicrafts and products made by women from self-help groups are receiving enthusiastic response from buyers. The festival is playing a meaningful role in contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government has launched several initiatives to strengthen Khadi, village industries, handicrafts, and age-old art traditions. Programs like One District One Product (ODOP), PM FME Scheme, and micro-enterprise policies have generated employment opportunities for thousands of youth.
Khadi Mahotsav brings all these initiatives together on a single platform, offering artisans and entrepreneurs opportunities for market expansion, technological advancement, and new business connections.
