Lucknow Kanpur Greenfield Elevated Expressway: Nitin Gadkari Inspects 8000 Cr Project, Check How it Will Benefit Commute

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, inspected the under-construction Lucknow-Kanpur Greenfield Elevated Expressway during his visit to Uttar Pradesh. Accompanied by MPs Ramesh Awasthi and Devendra Singh Bhole, the minister reviewed the progress of the ₹8,000 crore infrastructure project, which aims to enhance connectivity between two major cities of the state.

The Lucknow-Kanpur Greenfield Elevated Expressway is a significant step toward improving regional transportation, reducing travel time, and easing congestion on existing routes. The project is being developed as a part of the government's larger vision to upgrade national highways and expressways, ensuring better road connectivity across the country.
