The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is currently undertaking the construction of a flyover under the green corridor, with significant implications for the existing 1200 mm drinking water pipeline beneath it. To facilitate the ongoing construction, the Jal Nigam (Urban) is scheduled to shift the pipeline on November 28th, resulting in a disruption of water supply to several areas connected to the Gaughat Raw Water Pumping Station.
Affected Areas Include:
- Mankameshwar Partial
- Khadra (Kadmarsul, Ayodhyadas First and Second Ward)
- Kashmiri Mohalla
- Campbell Road
- Kanhaiya Madhavpur
- Iqbalnagar Khanti
- Purvidevi Temple Thakurganj

- Ahmedganj Pajawa
- Gaughat, among others.
The water supply disruption is a necessary step to accommodate the relocation of the pipeline, and residents are encouraged to make preparations for their water needs on the specified date.
