Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a special All India Radio channel, ‘Kumbhavani’ (FM 103.5 MHz), dedicated to Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. The launch event also saw the virtual participation of Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.
Spreading the Essence of Mahakumbh
The ‘Kumbhavani’ channel aims to bring the religious, spiritual, cultural, social, and economic aspects of Mahakumbh to a wider audience. Managed by Prasar Bharati, the channel will ensure the dissemination of key information and updates related to the event while promoting the significance of one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world.
Chief Minister Adityanath praised the initiative, stating that ‘Kumbhavani’ will play a vital role in connecting people with the sacred event. He also extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire Prasar Bharati team for their efforts in making this dedicated channel a reality.
