The Noida Airport would be the first airport in the country to host the first MRO Hub of Akasa Air. Akasa has partnered with Noida Airport to establish Akasa’s first maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in India to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
Seamless 4G & 5G Connectivity
A key milestone in the digital infrastructure journey of India has been announced with the launch of seamless 4G and 5G connectivity at the Jewar Airport. The development happened in partnership with top telecom service providers of India such as Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea.
PM Modi would launch the Phase 1 of the airport tomorrow. Once fully developed, the Noida International Airport would feature 6 runways, placing it among one of the world’s largest aviation facilities. Unlike legacy airports that evolve incrementally, the Noida Airport is a Greenfield project that allows planners to design out-of-the-box systems from passenger movement to cargo logistics with efficiency and expansion in mind.
Design elements of the Noida Airport include energy-efficient buildings, renewable power integration, water conservation systems and waste management strategies.
