Noida International Airport to Get Direct Ganga Expressway Link as UP Cabinet Approves 74-km Connector

The land acquisition process has already begun, covering 80 villages in Greater Noida and Bulandshahr.

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a 74-kilometre link expressway to provide direct connectivity between the Noida International Airport in Jewar and the Ganga Expressway, a move expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and boost the development of New Noida.

The proposed link expressway will strengthen access to the upcoming airport while supporting the planned expansion of the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), popularly known as New Noida.

Spread across 209 square kilometres (20,911.29 hectares), New Noida is being developed as a major urban and industrial hub. The land acquisition process has already begun, covering 80 villages in Greater Noida and Bulandshahr. The city is planned to be developed in phases, with completion targeted by 2041.

UP Cabinet Approves 74-km Connector

Officials said the new link road will provide seamless connectivity between the Ganga Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway, making travel to Noida International Airport faster and improving logistics across western Uttar Pradesh.

According to officials, the project is expected to enhance infrastructure, attract investment, and support economic growth in the region by improving access to the airport and the upcoming urban development corridor.
