Rajnath Singh in Lucknow: UP is witnessing development

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow on Saturday. Here he inaugurated 352 development projects worth Rs 1,450 crore in Lucknow. Along with this, he praised CM Yogi for law and order in the state. During the speech, the Union Minister said that you are all familiar with the way CM Yogi has worked on the issue of law and order.

Rajnath Singh also said that the target of achieving one trillion dollar economy is also going on simultaneously in the state. He said that today the entire state including Lucknow is witnessing development and welfare schemes. The development projects being inaugurated today include several roads, treatment plants, sewer lines, several urban roads and service roads.

This plan will be the central corridor for Lucknow

Regarding the development projects, he said that the foundation stone of the Green Corridor is being laid from today’s IIM Road. Which will also be connected to Shaheed Path and Kisan Path. It will take the form of a central corridor. This project will prove to be very important from the point of view of clean and green Lucknow. The work of construction of Shahjahanpur four lane expressway via Lucknow to Hardoi is in progress.

The distance of these districts from Lucknow will be less

The construction of Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway is also going on at a fast pace. The work on the 6-lane road from Lucknow to Gorakhpur via Ayodhya is in full swing. He said that Lucknow City and Charbagh railway stations have also been selected under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme in this budget, which will be developed as world-class railway stations. The work of Alam Nagar satellite station will also be completed soon.

Passenger capacity will increase at the airport

Apart from this, he said that work is underway on the construction of two new terminals at Lucknow airport, which will increase the annual handling capacity of Lucknow airport from 5.5 million passengers to 10 million passengers.

The infrastructure of Lucknow has become of such a level that big national and international events can be organized here.
