Seema Haider Attacked at Home, Man Tries to Strangle Her, Says She's Doing Black Magic

 In a disturbing incident, a man forcibly entered the residence of Seema Haider, a woman who came into national spotlight due to her cross-border love story, and physically assaulted her. The attack took place on Friday evening, leaving the family in shock and raising questions about her security.

According to eyewitness accounts, the accused, Tejas Gyani, barged into the house and allegedly tried to strangle Seema by grabbing her neck. He then slapped her multiple times—3 to 4, as per reports—before she could raise an alarm. Upon being caught, the accused reportedly claimed that Seema Haider was performing black magic, which he said was causing harm. His statements were incoherent, and police believe he may be suffering from mental instability. Officials have confirmed that Tejas is a resident of Gujarat, but the reason for his sudden appearance at her home in Noida remains unclear.

Police have detained the accused and are conducting a detailed investigation to determine whether the attack was premeditated or driven by delusion. "Initial signs suggest the attacker may not be mentally sound. However, we are verifying all aspects including his travel route, contacts, and any digital footprint," said a senior police official.

Meanwhile, the incident has sparked concern over Seema Haider’s safety and public image, given her controversial background and past media coverage. Family members have demanded tighter security, especially considering the psychological impact such an incident may have had on Seema and her children.

A case has been registered, and psychiatric evaluation of the accused is underway. Police say that based on the findings, appropriate legal action will follow.
