Kanpur Lamborghini Accident: Kanpur Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal has confirmed that the Kanpur Lamborghini accident that took place near Jhula Park Crossing on Sunday afternoon was driven by Shivam Mishra, the son of Banshidhar Tobacco Company owner KK Mishra. It was added that the CCTV footage clearly indicates that the vehicle’s driver was Shivam.

According to eyewitnesses, the car collided with an autorickshaw before striking a motorcycle and then a pole. The car was speeding and driver Shivam was under the influence of alcohol, according to the eyewitnesses. It was also added that the bouncers of Shivam removed him immediately from the vehicle after the crash.

Vishal Tripathi, an eyewitness to the Kanpur Lamborghini accident, remarked he owned the bullet bike that was damaged in the accident. Tripathi added that the car’s speed increased after hitting the auto rickshaw before hitting a pole.

KK Mishra, who is the owner of Banshidhar Tobacco Company, remarked that he would take part in the inquiry.
Mritunjay Kumar, the lawyer of Shivam, claimed that his client was not driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. The lawyer added that Mohan, the driver, was driving it when the crash happened.
Dharmedra Singh Dharmu, another lawyer for Shivam, remarked his client has a medical problem and therefore being admitted to Delhi. Dharmu commented that the driver has filed a bail plea along with a request to release the vehicle that was impounded by the police. The lawyer added the car driver claimed that the car was hit by an autorickshaw after which the car hit the bike.
Case Registered Under BNS Sections
The complainant sustained severe injuries to the ankle, left leg and other body parts. The motorcycle of the complainant was also severely damaged; many pedestrians were also injured during the Kanpur Lamborghini accident. The case is being investigated by Sub-inspector Dinesh Kumar and registered under relevant sections of the BNS 2023, including sections 281, 125(a), 125(b) and 324(4).
