In a bid to enhance the aesthetics and appeal of major intersections and roundabouts around the upcoming Noida International Airport, the authorities are planning to develop them in a manner inspired by Japanese design principles. The makeover will include the creation of circular parks through landscaping efforts. Greater Noida, in collaboration with the Yamuna Authority, aims to make the entry points visually appealing, turning them into attractive gateways.
Circular Parks to Replace Intersections
The plan involves the transformation of major intersections and roundabouts into park-like spaces, resembling the design seen in Japan. These areas will be developed to serve as green zones, replacing conventional traffic intersections. The focus will be on creating lush greenery, providing a pleasant visual experience for those entering the industrial areas.
Yamuna Authority’s Beautification Initiative
Yamuna Authority has decided to accelerate its efforts to beautify the areas adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway, especially focusing on industrial corridors. In the first phase, major routes and their green belts will undergo improvement, ensuring a positive impact on the overall ambiance. The design for these circular parks has been finalized, incorporating elements such as walking paths, green landscapes, floral arrangements, and central verge development.
Development Around Diverse Areas
The proposed circular park near Dankaur on the service road near Service Road Tiranga Chowk has already been implemented, showcasing the intended design. Additionally, a similar project is being planned near Sector-32 in the Bikaner Industrial Area. These areas will not only serve as traffic intersections but also as green oases, contributing to a more visually appealing and eco-friendly environment.
