Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, an ammonia gas leak from a meat factory in the Aligarh region of Uttar Pradesh resulted in the death of a woman and the illness of close to 65 other individuals. The incident happened at Haji Zaheer’s meat processing plant, Al-Dua.

All injured are hospitalized
The JN Medical College has accepted all of the injured patients. The causes of the gas leak were being investigated.
Factory was immediately evacuated
“After the gas incident, the factory was immediately evacuated, and everything are back to normal now. The affected individuals are receiving treatment”, a police official said.
