Uttar Pradesh Schools extends Holi holiday

There is important information for the schools that come under Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council. The board has extended the Holi holiday in schools. Under which the holiday will now be till March 9. It is noteworthy that before this, Holi holiday was declared on March 7 and 8 in the state. But there was a demand from the board that the holidays should be extended till March 9. Now the board has issued a notice in this regard. According to which now the schools in the state will open after March 9.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department gave information in this regard by tweeting. The department wrote that, 'On March 9, 2023, there will be a holiday in the schools of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council on the occasion of Holi.'

In fact, the demand for extension of Holi holiday in the state was made by the teachers. According to a media report, teachers' representatives had demanded from the board that the holidays be extended till March 9, because teachers whose homes are in other districts would not be able to return on March 9 after playing Holi on March 8. In this case Holi holiday should be of 3 days.
