Watch: A young woman’s voice trembled as she shared her harrowing ordeal with ANI, revealing the dark underbelly of the Chhangur Conversion Racket in Lucknow, UP. “I escaped and reached home after three months,” she said. But her nightmare wasn’t over. According to the victim, a man named Miraj came to her home and showed her father explicit videos involving her and other girls.

When her father demanded they be deleted, Miraj allegedly agreed, on the condition that the victim’s younger sister marry into his family. Outraged, her father attacked Miraj with a rod, killing him. “He filed a complaint, but no action was taken,” she added. The victim also alleged that Miraj’s family, linked to the Samajwadi Party, began threatening her and her brother during court visits, especially after she gave a statement to the VHP.

Now, her parents are in jail under what she calls a false case. She believes that Miraj’s mobile data, if recovered, would have exposed the full extent of the racket.
