UP CM Yogi Adityanath Slams SP Over Education Policies in Assembly Speech

During his address, CM Yogi said, “This is the problem with you people. You (SP) will oppose every good work that benefits the state. This kind of opposition should be condemned.”

CM Yogi highlighted that his government is working to ensure quality

He further criticized SP’s stance on education, saying, “These people will teach their children in English-medium schools, but if the government wants to provide better facilities for others, they will insist on making them study Urdu. They want them to become Maulvis.”

CM Yogi highlighted that his government is working to ensure quality education for all children, irrespective of their background. He accused the previous governments of neglecting educational reforms and prioritizing vote-bank politics over development.

"Our government is providing modern education to the youth so that they can compete on national and global levels. But some people want to limit others' children to outdated methods. We will not allow this," he asserted.

The Chief Minister also defended his government's initiatives, including setting up new schools, improving infrastructure, and introducing English-medium education in government institutions. He emphasized that the state government is committed to equal educational opportunities for all and will continue working towards that goal.

His remarks sparked reactions from opposition leaders, with Samajwadi Party members countering his claims. However, CM Yogi remained firm in his stance, reiterating that his government will not bow down to those trying to hinder progress in education.
