Viral Video: A disturbing incident has come to light as a video circulating on social media shows a violent altercation involving toll plaza personnel at the Sonipat toll plaza at Haryana‘s National Highway. The video shows toll booth employees physically assaulting a man and a woman following a dispute. This video has rapidly gained widespread attention on social media, showing the employees using sticks, rods, and pipes to attack the woman.
Shocking incident in Sonipat
The incident unfolded when the man and woman approached the toll plaza from the wrong direction, prompting toll booth personnel to halt their vehicle and order them to change their route. This led to a clash between the couple and the toll plaza workers. There were two additional people, a man and another woman, inside the car, and both men were subjected to physical assault by the toll plaza employees. The toll booth workers used sticks and rods to strike the two men at the Murthal toll plaza in Sonipat. Additionally, one of the employees forcibly pulled the woman by her hair and delivered punches to her face at the toll booth.
According to the toll plaza employees, the occupants of the car, the man and woman, were allegedly intoxicated and driving in the wrong direction at the toll booth. When the employees attempted to halt the vehicle, they claimed that the people inside behaved rudely, leading to a heated altercation. The video also captures the woman physically engaging with and striking the toll plaza employees after shoving them. Toll plaza authorities have reported that both parties ultimately reached an agreement after the car’s driver acknowledged his mistake.

Following the altercation between the man and woman with the toll plaza employees, toll plaza authorities contacted the Murthal police station. The police subsequently detained seven toll plaza employees after receiving a complaint related to the incident. This incident took place on Saturday, September 9th, and the police reported that both parties reached a resolution after the dispute escalated.
