On Reddit, a thread where numerous users are sharing the same complaint has come to our attention. The majority of issues are reported by iPhone 14 users. Numerous people claim that when their iPhones first start up, one or more green and yellow lines flash across the screen.
However, the lines are not lasting lines. These lines are only visible when they turn on their iPhones. These lines appear briefly on the screen before going away shortly before the gadget starts up.
This problem has previously been reported by certain users to Apple customer service. They claim that the Apple support staff has acknowledged the problem. However, they reassured customers that there is no hardware reason for the horizontal lines on their iPhones. The problem, according to Apple support, is a software issue. They have really determined that there is a problem with iOS 16.
The issue was originally noticed by certain users after updating to iOS 16.2, according to other users. Some people have also reported that the problem started even earlier on Reddit, Apple Support forums, and other places relevant to Apple. They claimed that after updating to iOS 16, horizontal lines started to show.
Apple trying to resolve the issue
According to a user who claimed to have spoken with an Apple engineer, the company is developing a patch to address the problem. Whether it will be released as a standalone patch or as part of an iOS system update is not yet known.
Apple is now testing iOS 16.3 with beta users and developers. However, iOS 16.3 won't be accessible until the beginning of 2023. Therefore, it's possible that Apple will release a patch to fix this or that consumers will have to wait until iOS 16.3 is released.
