Apple iPhone 16: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has received applications for the manufacture of mobile devices from the American multinational technology corporation Apple and its three affiliate companies. An authorized representative provided this information.
Apple iPhone 16 to be made in India?
According to him, the business has planned to build a facility on roughly 23 acres of land for an investment of Rs 2800 crore. It intends to manufacture the iPhone-16 in India, creating jobs for more than 10,000 people. He believed that with the arrival of Apple, more businesses would follow Apple’s lead and become more interested in India.
Last week, authority representatives travelled to Japan and Korea to seek investment. While there, they met with representatives of the Apple corporation. Apple and its affiliated businesses suggested investing Rs 2,800,000,000 in India.
An Apple subsidiary called Seiko Advance Limited, which makes ink has stated that it wants to build a factory on 5 acres in Yeida’s Sector 29. With its 850 crore rupee investment, this enterprise will employ thousands of people.
In a conversation with a source, Authority CEO Dr Arun Vir Singh stated that Apple and affiliated businesses would receive land in Sector 29. Many facilities are practically completed in this already developed industry. This will enable businesses to begin production following construction. Following the agreement, these companies deposited 10% of the total money with the Yamuna Authority.
Will more companies follow?
In order to produce Apple iPhones in India, Tata Group is also in discussion with a Taiwanese business. Both businesses will collaborate on this. According to a report, Tata is in discussions to produce the iPhone in India with Apple’s Taiwanese subsidiary Wistron.
