Apple iOS 17: What's new?

  • A new feature in the iOS 17 upgrade will make more stuff visible on the locked iPhone screen while the phone is charging. The screen will function as a smart display while charging thanks to the new standby mode. Along with the time and date, it will provide live activity and visitor counts. Now, calling Siri just requires saying "Hey Siri!" And there's no need to say it again. The phone will automatically switch to standby mode while horizontal charging.
  • In iOS 17, the iPhone manufacturer provides its own Journal App. Through a diary of what they do every day, this will assist users in tracking and recording their activities and ideas. Later this year, iPhone users will be able to download the new app Journal. Using the on-screen tool, Journal offers recommendations based on the user's preferences.
  • Users will be able to quickly share contact information with other devices by holding them close thanks to the new NameDrop function. By bringing the devices closer, SharePlay API now makes it possible to share even large-sized images and films.
  • In iOS 17, new filters will be accessible in the Message app. Users will be able to search anything with the aid of these filters. With iOS 17, audio communications will now be transcribed.
  • In iOS 17, there will be some significant changes. The phone app will offer customised contact posters. When using Live Voicemail, you can hear real-time transcriptions of the caller's conversation. In iOS 17, users will be able to record messages for anybody in FaceTime. If no one has answered your phone, this can be displayed.
