Asus CX Series Chromebooks launched in India, starts at Rs 19990; details here

Asus CX Series Chromebook: ASUS has updated its Chromebook CX portfolio with the introduction of the Chromebook CX15, Chromebook CX14, and Chromebook Flip 14 CX14. All three variants have identical specs and are powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor.

Asus CX Series Chromebook specs

The Intel Celeron N4500 CPU powers the three Chromebook versions. The dual-core processor has a 1.1 GHz clock speed and a turbo clock speed of up to 2.8 GHz. The processor includes integrated Intel UHD 600 graphics. Three Chromebook versions are available with two storage configurations: 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC storage. ChromeOS is used to power these.

Chromebooks include a 720p HD camera. Furthermore, all three models include built-in dual speakers and a headphone/microphone connection.

The 14-inch and 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) displays of the Asus Chromebook CX14 and Chromebook CX15, respectively, are FHD (1920 x 1080). The 14-inch touchscreen on the Chromebook Flip CX14 also has an FHD (1920x1080) resolution. The three Chromebooks are equipped with a full-size spill-resistant keyboard with 1.5mm key travel. The Chromebook CX15 weighs 1.8kg, the Chromebook CX14 1.47kg, and the Chromebook Flip CX14 1.63kg.

A 42Wh 2S1P 2-cell lithium-ion battery powers the Chromebook X15. The battery of the Chromebook X14 and Chromebook Flip X14 is a 50Wh 3S1P, 3-cell Li-ion.

Price in India

They are available in India through Flipkart and the ASUS online store. The ASUS Chromebook CX1400 costs Rs 20,990 and the CX1500 costs Rs 19,990.
