Google Bard vs Chat GPT: Chat GPT, a chatbot developed by Open AI, has overtaken the market. This chatbot has been making news ever since it went live and continues to do so. This chatbot accomplished what major IT companies could not in less than two months. Google is about to release its new AI tool Bard in order to compete with Chat GPT. In reality, Google has increased its awareness and speeded up the development of its AI initiative since Chat GPT first entered the market.
Google Bard and Chat GPT in details
Bard is another AI tool created from Google’s LaMDA, or Language Model for Dialogue Application. Like Chat GPT, it will also respond to inquiries, but you will receive information that is already online. In other words, this AI tool will respond to your queries in accordance with the most recent facts available on the internet, whereas Chat GPT’s knowledge is only up to 2021. In other words, Chat GPT has data up to 2021 and uses that data to answer queries. With Google’s AI technology, however, this is not the case.
Chat GPT is a machine learning-based AI tool that has been fed with every piece of publicly available data. According to the supplied statistics, it can provide better answers to any question than Google.
Difference between the Two
- Their unique data sources are what distinguish Bard and ChatGPT the most. Unlike ChatGPT, which is trained on a predefined set of data that hasn’t been updated since 2021, Bard is equipped with a real-time internet connection and an infinity of data selected to improve its dialogue. The sources used by both include Common Crawl, Wikipedia, news stories, and documents.
- When you ask Bard a question, it will respond with a number of answers, which you can access by selecting “view draughts.” Each question in ChatGPT receives a single response.
- When it comes to providing code prompts, ChatGPT excels. Google claims that Bard is “still learning” this ability and that it is not yet at ChatGPT’s level.
- Unlike Bard, which currently does this in a far more limited way, ChatGPT can learn from the interactions it has with individuals.
