77th India’s Independence Day: The Whole country is celebrating the occassion of 77th Independence day today. Google is celebrating the same in its own style, to mark the occassion, tech Giant has made a unique Google doodle in which it is showcasing the textile craft works of the different states and Union Territories of India. Google in a text posted with Google Doodle said “On this day in 1947, a new era dawned as India became independent from British rule”. This remarkable illustration on Google Doodle is made by a new guest artist Namrata Kumar.

A Thought Behind This Google Doodle Illustration

Kumar explaining the thought behind this Google Doodle Illustration also informed about the source of idea and her inspiration behind the style of doodle, in which she wanted to depict all the geographical regions of the country in a unique and balanced manner. She said “Throughout the creative process, the overarching goal was to honour and celebrate India’s textiles and their profound connection to the nation’s identity”

Google is celebrating India’s Independence Day Since two decades in unique ways, the company honours and respect the Indian history and Culture. The first Google Doodle marking the Indian Independence Day was made live by the company in 2004 which demonstrated a simple illustration of India’s Tricolour.
