Google Pixel Watch: Google Launches Its First-Pixel Watch, Will It Give Tough Competition To Apple Watch?

Google Pixel watch: Officially presented to the public for the first time, Google’s Pixel Watch, is the company’s very first round-faced wristwatch. The most recent model of Google’s Pixel Watch was shown off for the first time at the company’s annual Google IO developer conference in May. It is an answer to Apple’s popular Apple Watch series, which can only be used with iPhones. Although it is compatible with various Android devices, Google claims that the Pixel Watch works more effectively with its Pixel smartphones. This is similar to the way that the Pixel Airdopes function.

According to Google, the new Pixel Watch dial is built with 80 percent recycled stainless steel, which is in line with the company’s efforts to be more eco friendly. It is available with a dial in three different colors: black, silver, and gold. The smartwatch can be customized by the user with a variety of coloured straps.

Pricing

The Bluetooth version of the Google Pixel Watch starts at $349 (about Rs 28,600), and the LTE version starts at $399 (approximately Rs 32,700). Pricing information that is particular to India is not yet available. From October 6, it has been possible to place a pre-order for it in certain countries.

On the other hand, the Apple Watch Series 8 starts at Rs 45,900 in India. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 with WearOS costs Rs 27,999 in India.

WearOS is the basic operating system that powers several Samsung and Fossil smartwatches. This implies that Google Pixel Watch owners can download third-party applications such as Spotify and Strava directly onto the device. In addition, users may check notifications from Google apps such as Maps and Gmail. The watch can also be used to control Nest devices. Google also claims a full day of battery life.
