Lithium was found in J&K
A few days prior, it was announced that the lithium reserves discovered in this region’s Reasi district will be put up for auction by the Jammu and Kashmir state. For the first time in the nation, 59 lakh tonnes of lithium deposits have been discovered in Jammu and Kashmir, according to information released by the Central Government in February of this year. This lithium resource was discovered at the beginning of December of this year.

India still needs lithium from China. However, it can be believed that China’s monopoly will end with the finding of this reservoir in Jammu and Kashmir.
