Instagram Down: On Thursday night, Instagram users reportedly experienced service interruptions in several parts of the world. According to reports, internet users were unable to log in, load feeds, or send messages. When many turned to Twitter to express their thoughts, the hashtag #instagramdown quickly became popular. There were numerous amusing responses on Twitter, ranging from memes making fun of the app closing immediately after opening to Instagram staffers having trouble fixing the glitch.

Instagram’s Twitter account also acknowledged the problem and apologised for the inconvenience. “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Instagram. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience, and hang tight! #instagramdown,” read the tweet.
Instagram Comms tweeted an hour later that the problem had been fixed. . “And we’re back! We resolved the issue that caused today’s outage, and apologize for any inconvenience,” Instagram Comms tweeted.
Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are just a few of the social media sites that have reported problems in the past. Numerous users have reported outages on social media, and in May also (of this year), Twitter was inundated with #instagramdown memes. Have a look at a few recent ones here:
