Jio Games Cloud: The business launches beta, all you need to know about the platform

Jio Games Cloud: Jio, a subsidiary of the Reliance Group, has introduced JioGamesCloud, a new cloud gaming platform, in beta on its JioGames app. Currently, JioGamesCloud enables customers with reliable internet connections to stream games directly to any device that is compatible without having to install, download, or update the games.

All about Jio Games Cloud

JioGames stated in a tweet that users of smartphones, web browsers, and Jio Set Top Box can access the gaming platform.

Victor Vran, Shadow Tactics, Beholder, Saints Row, Redout, Deliver Us The Moon, and Kingdom Come Deliverance are just a few of the more than 50 titles available on JioGamesCloud. JioGamesCloud claims to provide its service in a reliable 20 Mbps wired/wireless connection for a fluid experience across AAA titles and hyper-casual games.

Currently available for free to all customers, the beta version also enables users to sign in and access the service via cellular connections other than Jio’s.

Jio and Nvidia

Some Jio customers can now access GeForce Now on JioGamesCloud. An employee of Jio appears to have confirmed that the company is working with Nvidia to introduce GeForce Now to the nation. While GeForce Now appears to be only available to a small group of gamers with a set-top box, JioGamesCloud is accessible to all Jio users. We can only hope that Jio will soon provide further clarification on this.

We may anticipate Xbox Cloud Gaming and PlayStation’s cloud gaming services to expand to India once GeForce Now gradually expands here. GeForce Now’s performance in India, especially with regard to latency, remains to be seen. There was some lag seen by users of the JioGamesCloud beta. The service is still in early access, so improvements are anticipated over the next few months.
