Motorola Moto G31: The Moto G31 makes an effort to live up to the high standards set by the Moto G30, but it falls just a little short. The MediaTek Helio G85 processor, AMOLED screen, and IPX2 rating for dust and water resistance come standard on this Moto.
Although it is made of polycarbonate and has a unibody design similar to the Moto G30, it does not feel cheap. The new AMOLED display is a significant upgrade over the G30's LCD panel, but it only has a 60Hz screen refresh rate.
Cameras
The Moto G31 has fewer rear-facing cameras now thanks to Motorola. There were four in the Moto G30, one of which was a special 2-megapixel depth sensor. When taking pictures in Portrait mode on the Moto G31, the 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera also serves as the depth camera. In addition to a 2-megapixel macro camera, the main camera now has a 50-megapixel sensor as opposed to the Moto G30's 64-megapixel sensor. The front-facing 13-megapixel camera is responsible for taking selfies.
Gestures and Operating system
Along with the typical Moto gestures, Android 11 is available in a nearly stock form. For a budget smartphone in this price range, performance is average, and there are phones with comparable prices that have better hardware.
Battery life and charging
This phone has a good battery life and can go for 1.5 days between charges. The primary camera performed admirably in daylight, but the ultra-wide one did not. Overall, low-light imaging was very disappointing.
