Nokia C22: The Nokia G22, Nokia C32, and Nokia C22 are three new smartphones that HMD Global has released. The G22 emphasises ease of repairability while the C-series emphasises durability. The business has partnered with iFixit to provide users with easy-to-use repair manuals and parts to help them fix their phones.
Quick and easy to repair
The Nokia G22’s removable back makes changing a battery a breeze. The new design also makes it simple to unscrew components like the screen and the charging port for removal.
Adam Ferguson, head of product marketing at HMD Global, said: “People value durable, high-quality devices, and they shouldn’t have to sacrifice price to get them. The new Nokia G22 is intentionally constructed with a repairable design so you can keep it even longer, he continued.

Display and cameras
The Nokia G22’s back is made entirely of recycled plastic, and FSC Mix materials are used in the packaging. The G22 has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 720 x 1,200 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Glass 3 from Corning Gorilla protects the screen.
A 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens make up the smartphone’s triple rear camera setup. A front-facing 8MP camera is also available for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity and memory
The Nokia G22 offers WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. A 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are also included. The phone’s 5,050mAh battery supports 20W wired charging.
The Unisoc T606 SoC in the Nokia G22 is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. The smartphone has dual SIM capabilities and comes pre-installed with Android 12.
