Nokia X30 5G: Lightning fast processor and seamless display make this phone a tough contender in the mid segment market

Nokia X30 5G: The Nokia X30 was released in the United States and Europe last year. According to HMD Global Vice President Sanmeet Kochhar, the company's "most eco-friendly phone yet" will be available in India soon.

The Nokia X30 will be "coming soon to India," according to the HMD executive. There was no mention of a specific launch date. The price of the X30 is also unknown.

Display

The Nokia X30 5G features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 18002400 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the screen.

Cameras

In terms of imaging capabilities, the Nokia X30 has a dual camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. AI is used in the 50MP main camera, which also supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). In addition, the smartphone has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Storage and processor

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor powers the Nokia X30. It supports up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12. The X30 gets three OS upgrades, three years of monthly security updates, and comes with a three-year warranty.

Connectivity options

The Nokia X30 supports Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G VoLTE, 5G, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. The device is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone is dust and water resistant, with an IP67 rating.

Price and variants

The Nokia X30 5G is currently available in Cloudy Blue and Ice White colours in the United States and Europe. The smartphone is expected to arrive in India soon, though no specific date has been announced. The Nokia X30 8GB + 256GB model costs $540 in the United States. There has been no word on the smartphone's pricing in India.
