POCO C50: Company launches budget smartphone with MediaTek Helio A22 processor, all you must know

POCO C50: Yesterday, the POCO C50 was officially announced for the Indian market (3rd January 2022). The newly released mobile device is an entry-level smartphone with a low price point. So, here's what you need to know.

Specifications of POCO C50

The POCO C50 has a 6.52-inch screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600x720px and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The front LCD screen has a waterdrop-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera. On the back, there are two cameras, with an LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner. This model was announced by the Chinese company to offer a number of key features, two of the most important of which are a large display and a battery life that lasts for a long time.

The phone has a premium leather-like finish

The device is powered by a big 5,000mAh battery pack that can be charged at the standard 10W rate. Inside, it has a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, which works with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The front has a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calls, and the back has an 8-megapixel AI dual camera that can record in 1080p @30fps. The back of the phone has a premium leather-like finish, and it comes with Android 12 Go Edition out of the box.

The price range of POVO C50

The company has said that the POCO C50 will come in two colours and with two different storage options. It will come in Royal Blue, Country Green, and 2GB+32GB or 3GB+32GB versions. The colours will be Royal Blue and Country Green. The C50's price range begins at 6249 INR (about $75 USD) and goes up to 6,999 INR (roughly 85 US Dollars). The phone will go on sale for the first time on January 10, 2023, and you can buy it on Flipkart.
