Redmi 9i Sport: A feature rich phone that offers value for money, all you need to know

Redmi 9i Sport: The Redmi 9i Sport smartphone was introduced on September 28, 2021. The phone has a 6.53-inch touchscreen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720x1600 pixels (HD+). A 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 CPU powers the Redmi 9i Sport. It has 4GB of RAM built in. The phone has a 5000mAh non-removable battery and runs Android 10. The Redmi 9i Sport is compatible with specialised fast charging.

In terms of cameras, it has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with an f/2.2 aperture and 1.0-micron-sized pixels. The arrangement for the back camera has autofocus. It includes a single front camera arrangement with a 5-megapixel sensor and an f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

It runs MIUI 12 is based on Android 10 and packs 64GB, 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB) with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It measures 164.90 x 77.07 x 9.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 194.00 grams. It was launched in Carbon Black, Coral Green, and Metallic Blue colours.

Connectivity options

The Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, Micro-USB, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with compatibility for Band 40 used by select LTE networks in India) connectivity options on the 9i Sport are active 4G on both SIM cards. The phone has an accelerometer, a light sensor for ambient light, and a proximity sensor. Face unlock is supported by the 9i Sport.
