Redmi Note 12 series: Fast charging, DSLR comparable cameras and excellent battery life, these phones are value for money

Redmi Note 12 series: Redmi, a smartphone manufacturer, is getting ready to introduce its Note 12 Series to Indian consumers. Three smartphones from the company's Redmi Note series—the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus—will be unveiled. Display and cameras

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+, which will be available in India as a replacement for the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 200MP primary wide-angle optically stabilised camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens make up the device's triple camera configuration.

A 6.67-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate is also featured on the Redmi Note 12. This model has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. A 48MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens make up the dual camera arrangement. An 8MP selfie camera is located up front.

Battery

A 5,000 mAh battery inside the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ supports 120W fast charging. The smartphone will initially come with the MIUI 13 skin for Android 12 and will eventually receive the MIUI 14 skin for Android 13.

What's new in this series?

The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are practically identical in terms of specs. The Redmi Note 12 Pro's 50MP camera with an OIS Sony IMX766 sensor replaces the 200MP primary camera. Both models feature a 16MP sensor, and the primary camera on these gadgets can record 4K video.

Redmi Note 12 series price

Given its features and technical characteristics, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ would probably cost more than Rs 25000 in India. Similar to how the Redmi Note 12 would cost around Rs 13690 in India, the Redmi Note 12 Pro is probably going to cost around Rs 20000.
