Galaxy device owners now have access to a new security function called “Auto Blocker,” according to Samsung. By preventing harmful commands and software installations by USB cable, detecting possible malware, blocking app installation from unapproved sources, and mitigating Zero Click attacks, Samsung claims that the Auto Blocker is an optional package of extra security measures that adds an extra layer of protection. Samsung Galaxy smartphones that are One UI 6 compatible can use the Auto Blocker feature.
Auto Blocker gives consumers control over their devices without compromising security, which is consistent with Samsung’s dedication to setting the industry standard for security.
