Samsung Galaxy F62: The Samsung Galaxy F62 is the second model in the new F series of mid-range smartphones, which was just released. Despite having a plastic frame and back, the phone still has a solid feel to it. It weighs 218g more than the Galaxy M51 and is thicker at 9.5mm. The Exynos 9825 SoC is the star of the Samsung Galaxy F62. The phone doesn’t overheat when used frequently, and the single UI has a sleek appearance. Game play is flawless as well. CSR Racing 2 and Call of Duty: Mobile are two games that look great and perform well.

Display
The Galaxy M51’s display specifications are also essentially the same. It has a 6.7-inch, 60Hz-refresh Super AMOLED Plus panel that is full-HD+. I’m disappointed that the Galaxy F62 lacks both features considering that it’s common to find a 90Hz refresh rate and even an in-display fingerprint sensor in phones that cost a lot less. You do receive a hole-punch cutout in the display’s top-center, which provides countless options for using original wallpaper.
Performance
Two features that really stand out are the vivid display and the excellent battery life. The Galaxy F62’s AMOLED display, one of Samsung’s best in the business, has excellent brightness and excellent colour saturation. At first, the default colour profile was a little startling, but I soon grew accustomed to it. The software gives you the option to change the colours.
Battery
Another impressive feature of the Samsung Galaxy F62 is its battery life. Like the Galaxy M51, it has a 7,000mAh battery, and the box includes a USB Type-C 25W fast charger. Even with heavy usage, the phone easily lasted me close to two full days, which was remarkable. The Galaxy F62 also performed admirably in our HD video loop test, lasting 25 hours. It takes about two hours to fully charge this phone using a 25W charger, which isn’t particularly quick, but even a minimal charge will go a long way.
Price and variants
In India, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is offered in two different configurations: the 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 25,999. It comes in three colours: Laser Blue, Laser Black, and Laser Green, and the dedicated microSD card slot in the dual-SIM tray allows for internal storage expansion. For this review, Samsung sent me the 6GB model with the Laser Blue trim.
