Display

The front and back of the iPhone 13 are both made of Gorilla Glass, but its edges are much flatter. With the exception of a smaller notch, the iPhone 13 and the S22 are very similar to one another. However, the iPhone 13 has a standard 60Hz display while the S22 has a 120Hz display.

Thus, the variable 120Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy S22’s display can make it feel twice as smooth. However, the iPhone 13 outperforms the S22 thanks to its higher screen resolution, which is 2532 by 1170 pixels as opposed to the S22’s 2340 by 1080. Additionally, the iPhone 13’s screen may appear slightly sharper than the Galaxy S22’s because it has a higher pixels-per-inch ratio (457 PPI) than the latter (422 PPI).

Cameras

The Galaxy S22 has three cameras: a 50MP wide (with OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto (with OIS and 3x zoom). The Galaxy S22 has a 10MP selfie camera on the front, which is housed in a punch hole at the top centre of the display.

The iPhone 13 has two cameras on the back: a 12MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The face recognition (Face ID) sensors and a 12MP FaceTime camera are housed in a notch on the front of the iPhone.
