Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra tipped to be offered with a 200MP camera sensor, What you must know

While it is previously known that Samsung will employ a 200MP sensor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the company was expected to use the same sensor that was used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: According to reports, Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a better 200MP camera. The business did not create a new sensor from scratch but rather optimised the ISOCELL HP2 sensor featured on the Galaxy S23 Ultra for greater picture quality and other enhancements. It will use the optimised version ISOCELL HP2SX.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera details

According to the tipster’s X post, the new sensor will keep the 1/1.3-inch sensor with an individual pixel size of 0.6m. It’s not bad, given the HP2 had one of the greatest smartphone cameras. While the new sensor is supposed to be an improved version of the HP2 sensor, the source has not provided any other specifics. We anticipate that the new sensor will be marginally superior than that of last year’s camera.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra expected specs

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB storage, an in-display fingerprint reader, IP68 rating, dual speakers, a titanium frame, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging are among the features of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It will most likely support 15W fast wireless charging as well as 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 14.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to include a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

A 200MP primary camera is expected to be supplemented by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom, and a 10MP periscope sensor. On the front, the top smartphone will include a 12MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
