Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro: As part of its 20-year celebration of its innovative history in foldable phone technology, Samsung today announced the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro, a limited-edition handset. SGH-E700, the first flip phone from Samsung with an integrated antenna that was released in 2003, served as the model for the Z Flip5 Retro.

A number of unique elements from the SGH-E700 are included in the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro, including the mix of silver and blue, a unique animation on the Flex Window that depicts a nostalgic cityscape.
Additionally, this comes in special packaging with three Flipsuit cards with logos from various periods in Samsung’s history, a Flipsuit case, and a collector card with an engraved unique serial number that will increase the product’s collectable value for buyers.

Specs

With the same top-tier specifications as the standard Z Flip5, the Z Flip5 Retro boasts a retro style. The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. The rear camera system comprises three lenses: a 12 MP ultrawide, a 10 MP telephoto, and a 50 MP primary sensor.

Launch and price details

On November 1, limited numbers of the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro will be available in South Korea; on November 2, it will also be available in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, and Australia. Exclusively on Samsung‘s official website, customers in these markets can acquire the limited edition gadget. The cost information is still pending.
