These flaws might let an attacker access physical pages even after they have been given back to the system and continue to read and write them. Or, to put it another way, an attacker with native code execution in an app might take complete control of the system and get beyond Android OS's permission architecture.

ARM was made aware of these security holes in the months of June and July. A month later, ARM patched these Mali-related system vulnerabilities, but as of the time of this writing, no smartphone OEMs had done the same.

The Companies other than Samsung which are affected by these security vulnerabilities.

Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo are just a few of the smartphone manufacturers who use the ARM Mali GPU.the exploit were originally discovered as it was targeting the Pixel 6. Additionally, Google has not corrected this flaw.
