Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC: Qualcomm has launched its latest flagship grade mobile chipset. The new chipset was launched on Tuesday at the Snapdragon Summit. The new chipset succeeds the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which still performs well. Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC comes with generative AI features, 240 fps gaming capability, WiFi 7 and many other high end features. Checkout more details of the new processor below.
Qualcomm’s claims that its new mobile platform is 98 percent faster and 40 percent more power efficient because of Hexagon NPU. The new chipset comes with an Adreno Graphic Processing Unit which is 25 percent faster and more power saving when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC Features
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features an AI engine and generative AI potentials. claiming the world’s fastest stable diffusion for image generation. The new processor is based on 4nm technology with the Qualcomm Kryo CPU which delivers upto 3.3 Ghz at 30 percent improved performance and 20 percent more power efficiency.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is also capable for high end gaming performance. With its hardware accelerated ray tracing with global illumination. The chip is claimed to achieve 240 fps in heavy gaming. Additionally, the Adreno 750 GPU promises 25 percent faster and more efficient gaming.

Many of the upcoming devices from major smartphone brands such as ASUS, IQOO, Nubia, Honor, NIO, OnePlus, Oppo, Sony, Xiaomi and RedMagic will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The new chipset will be exclusive to the flagship android smartphones across the world.
