The criminal played a porn video during the WhatsApp video call in order to blackmail the Union Minister. But with the immediate assistance of Delhi Police, authorities managed to arrest the wrong doer from Bharatpur in Rajasthan. In order to avoid any sextortion incidents online, you should always apply privacy settings on all of your social media accounts, so that only your known can access your account related information. You can also lock your profile picture as this feature is also available in many of the social media platforms as of now.

Criminals often prefer to do a recce of the victim’s background before proceeding for sextortion. So, to keep all your personal information hidden you must keep all your social media handle private.
