Women Safety: Technology is a big part of the problem-solving process. Apps, wearable devices, and GPS trackers, among other things, are examples of new ways to solve problems. There are a lot of ways that women can be safer, and new technologies are being made to help.
Here are five apps that can help women feel safer and put their minds at ease:
My safetypin
The SafetyPin app helps you figure out which route is the safest. When getting close to a dangerous place, the app sends alerts, and family or friends can follow the ride. The company said that public transportation, visibility, and security are some of the ways to measure how safe an area is.
Letstrack
Letstrack enables hardware and software solutions to fuel the Internet of Things while also functioning as a GPS and car security system (IoT). It is the First Voice vehicle security system that is all in one. Letstrack offers tracking in real time, a history of the last 24 hours, zone alerts, an SOS alarm, and better connectivity.

Safelet
It is a device for women’s safety that may be worn and has two buttons on the side that can be used to send a message or get in touch with a guardian member. It also synchronises with the user’s mobile phone so that audio recording can begin immediately.
In a dangerous situation, the member who gets the alert can immediately call 911 from the app.
Women’s Eyewatch SOS
It records both audio and video of the user’s surroundings and then transmits it, together with an alert message, to the contacts that the user has registered. The app says that it can find your location with high accuracy, works without GPRS, and has a feature that lets you know you’re safe. When the user gets to the location safely, they can let their friends and family know by pressing the “I am Safe” button. It is available on Google Play Store and iTunes.

bSafe
bSafe is a mobile application for personal safety that facilitates the formation of a “social safety network” of individuals who, in the case of emergency or in circumstances in which the user feels unsafe, are alerted. It has a bSafe alarm that sends the user’s exact location and audio and video of the area to a contact that the user has already chosen.
It sets a timer that will automatically send an alarm to friends if they don’t come back in time to turn it off or make a fake call to their phone if they want to interrupt them.
