Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G: The Best In Its Class Global Xiaomi Model To Rebrand As Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE and Xiaomi Civi 2

Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G: Xiaomi seems to be working on both the flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro and a more basic Xiaomi 13 series phone. A report says that the Xiaomi 13 Lite has been stopped by the IMEI database. This phone is expected to be the cheapest in the series. The model number for the phone is 2210129SG, where the “G” means that it will be sold all over the world.

In addition to the Xiaomi 13 Lite, another phone, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE, also showed up in the IMEI database with the same codename. According to the various rumors circulating online, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE is, a Xiaomi Civi 2 below its skin. The Xiaomi Civi 2 was a model that was only available in China, and it appears that the device will be sold under the nomenclatures Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE and Xiaomi 13 Lite outside of China.

The Civi 2 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which has not yet been used in an Indian smartphone. Xiaomi 13 Lite/Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE could be the first smartphone in the country to come out with the latest Qualcomm 7-series chip. Let’s look at what it has to offer and decide if it would be a good idea for the Indian market.

Xiaomi Civi 2: Features, Specifications

On the back of the Xiaomi Civi 2, there are different patterns and finishes to appeal to a wider range of people. The device is only 7.23 millimeters thick and weighs 171 grams. The triple camera system is in the Xiaomi 12 series-inspired rectangular camera island at the back.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 has a curved 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED display that looks very high-end. It has an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a brightness of 1000 nits. But the camera island in the shape of a pill, like the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, could have been avoided.

The phone runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, which was first used in the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G (China) phone. It has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space on the inside.

In terms of optics, the Civi 2 has three cameras on the back, one of which is a 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). One of the extra cameras is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K ultrawide.

The Civi 2 has a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 67W.

Xiaomi 13 Lite: Price (Expected)

The Xiaomi 13 Lite will be based on the Xiaomi Civi 2, which has a starting price of CNY 2,399, ( Rs 27,219). If it comes to India, you can expect to pay a little more for it. It may expand internationally by December 2022.
