Xiaomi 13 Pro: Xiaomi has finally confirmed the availability of its Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone in India. On February 26, 2023, the company will unveil its flagship smartphone in the country. Xiaomi's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts will be live-streaming the Xiaomi 13 Pro launch event.

For the uninitiated, the Xiaomi 13 Pro first appeared in China last year. The device recently received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, indicating that it will be available soon. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is a flagship smartphone that features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a premium build, and a plethora of features. Let us now look at its detailed specifications.

Xiaomi 13 Pro: Specifications

Display

The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a premium metal frame and a leather or ceramic back panel.

The device has a curved 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a WQHD+ resolution (1440 x 3200 pixels), a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 1900 nits. The display is also Dolby Vision compatible and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Cameras

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the 13 Pro, as well as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S23 series and the OnePlus 11 5G in India. In terms of optics, the device features a triple rear camera setup with a Leica-tuned Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, an f/1.9 aperture, and Hyper OIS. The ancillary cameras include a 50MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfie aficionados, there's a 32MP sensor at the front.

Connectivity and sensors

Among the 13 Pro's notable features are an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an IP68 rating for water/dust resistance, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS (L1+L5), NFC, UFS 4.0 memory, and a USB Type-C port. The device is powered by a 4820mAh battery and supports 120W wired fast charging. It also has 50W wireless fast charging technology.
